STUDENT EDUCATIONAL CONCERTS

9:30 AM and 11:00 AM

Music teachers across Texas can now make plans to attend an exciting interactive concert with the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra on the beautiful, historic campus of Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, Texas.
 
You and your students can experience the concert live, in person, or can join us for a live-stream broadcast.

Your students will hear a fun-filled, interactive really cool full symphonic concert. There will be two identical concerts, one at 9:30 AM and the other at 11:00 AM.
 
Your students will learn about major and minor keys, and hear each section of the orchestra.
 
The cost? Nothing - we want to make this concert available to all music teachers and students throughout Texas regardless of their ability to pay. The length? Each concert will be 55 minutes long.

Prior to the concert, each music teacher will receive TEKS-based lesson plans to help prepare your students for the concert.

After the concert, each teacher who registers will receive a YouTube video link to show to students who may have missed the concert, or to show again in your classroom.
